Greater Love (Valentine)

It is Valentine again, a time to show love to the very special people in your life. In this season of giving love, what love could be greater than that which is between lovers, families and partners?

“Greater love has no one than this, that he should lay down his life for his friends” Jhn 15:13

The only kind of love that is greater than all the forms of love the world is accustomed to is the God-kind of love. It is the love that is greater than any known love.

The God-kind of love which is the greatest forms of love is what Christ demonstrated to us by laying down his life for all man kind.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Rom 5:8.

You may seem fulfilled at the moment but without Jesus, you can’t truly know what it means to be truly loved. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son…”

As you celebrate this Valentine day…… Celebrate the God-kind of Love

As you show your love to your friends and families… Remember Jesus

Valentine may just be a day out of 365 days, but Jesus loves you everyday in 365 days. So if you are celebrating valentine and you haven’t really accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, now is the best time to do so…. All it takes is for you to sincerely ask Him to come into your life and He will personally visit you.

It's a New year and with a look back at 2017, the journey so far, all I can say is "Titi Ni Oluwatosin" meaning "Forever God is worthy to be served".
I was inspired by the Hashtag of my friend's wedding last year while chatting with her some days ago to write this short thought.

When we started the journey, I never knew I would call upon you.

When it started becoming sweet, I never knew I would be needing you.

When it started going rough, It never occurred to me that it was you that I only needed.

Yet you were always there
Yet you always cared
Yet you never got tired of waiting.

What manner of Man is this they said, who never gets angry even when we don't pay him his dues, even when we reject and insult Him.

What manner of Man is this who keeps calling in a still small voice so as to avoid disturbing our seemingly perfect life.

Then I called out in my despair to the unknown God, and you made me knew that you knew me right from the start.

You made me know that even if I never knew You, You knew me and that you are Yahweh.

My joy knew no bounds since you accepted me with all my pride and guilts, even though people stil wondered that what manner of Man is this who is Holy but still wine and dine with a sinner like me.

My joy knew no bounds since you brought me Love like no other.

Somewhere in my heart, I thought of the journey so far, I looked for words to qualify my present situation, then I heard the words "Titi ni Oluwa to sin".

I listened again and I heard it over and over again.

I looked at my life, my past, my present, my future.
I realized there has only been just one person. You.

TitiOluwatosin- The God who never gets tired of me.
TitiOluwatosin- The one who has stood by me all time.
TitiOluwatosin- The God who has made me know peace and joy.
TitiOluwatosin- The God whom I'll serve all the days of my life.

12Days of Christmas

It's Christmas season again and I personally want to celebrate the love of my life, the only one who deemed it fit to die for me.
His birth was for my freedom and his death was for my liberation.
He gave me a gift which is now my true love... My true love is the Word, because it's never changed over time.

Here's what I've learned from my true love over the course of the year.

On the first day of Christmas, my true love said to me... Prepare ye the way of the Lord.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love said to me, it's going to be a boy.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love said to me, the baby is coming.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love said to me, it's a boy.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love said to me, he's name is Immanuel.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love said to me, he's gone to save the world.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love said to me, He's come to set the captive free.

On the eight day of Christmas, my true love said to me, he's gone to heal the brokenhearted.

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love said to me, He's been arrested for mankind's sake.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love said to me he'll be crucified for my sins.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love said to me, he's risen from the tomb.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love said to me, he'll come again soon to take me home.

After my true love made all this known to me..  I realize that Christmas is not the time to wine and dine but a time to reflect on my life and judge if the essence of Jesus birth is still valid in my life.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the birth of him who died in their place.

*Sister*: Yes you heard me.

 *Femi* : Why should you say such a thing, you are a respectable young vibrant sister and also firebrand, hope you know what you are saying?.

 *Sister* : I perfectly know what I am saying, I have been waiting for you for the past two years
I keep watching and waiting for day you would come up to me and say, sister, you are the will of God for my life, would you love to walk this journey with me?
Instead, everytime you come, you keep counting the ceiling, you keep looking at the albums,
You keep stammering,
You keep saying don't bother, I have nothing to say.
I have gone back to the place of prayer many a times but I keep seeing just you.
Do you want me to die waiting?
Do you want me to become a laughing stock among the sisters?

 *Femi* : But what happened to the tradition that forbids a Lady from proposing to a man?
What happened to all the proposal seminars where you keep hearing that you must wait for me?

 *Sister* : who traditions EPP?
Tradition! Tradition!
Tradition my foot, I know what's mine and I won't let you waste away.

Marriage seminar! so you can mention that too, did they tell you to keep shivering and backing out whenever you walk up to God's will?

 *Femi* : Ahh, sister, you should take it easy, I am still waiting for the perfect time ni.

 *Sister* : No don't worry, every time right from when we were still in school was the right time.
Everytime we walked home after fellowship was the right time, but you kept kicking the dust.
Everytime we were at the eatery together was the right time but you keep munching pies like that's the reason you took me out.
Everytime we went to the library to read alone was the right time, but you keep facing your book like you were really serious with it.

 *Femi* : But I can't believe this, I believe you are making a mistake somewhere.

 *Sister* : No, I am not, six times you have told me you wanted to tell me something and each time your lips keep vibrating like it's on massage machine.
And all you would say is don't worry, I just wanted to see if you were alright.

 *Femi* : but I was going to say it today.

 *Sister* : Say what? After you have already done all  your rehearsals before coming and your liver still failed you, and just now yu said let's be going, you now said you were going to say it.
See Bro Femi, if you don't propose right now don't ever call me again, don't even greet me if you see me, infact just forget about me.

 *Femi* : ahh, I will talk. *Sweat trickling down his head* ehm ehm
Goes down on one knee and says
Please forgive me for all the times I kept you waiting, I have known that you are God's will for my life for the past four years but wasn't sure you have also gotten the message and I feared getting a negative response.

*Wipes the sweat off his forehead*
Please Sister, the spirit of the Lord is telling me that you are my life partner, please I will like you to also pray about it because I have my conviction that you are the one.

 *Sister* : Pray kwa, me that I have been waiting for you like kilode, even this morning sef the holy spirit still showed you to me. I agree jare.

Femi stands up and can't believe he had just done what he had been afraid to do for the past 13months.

 *Moral* : The holy spirit won't propose for you, you have to be man enough to do it.

Brothers please stop wasting sisters time.
Stop using text messages to woo sisters, once you are sure of your conviction, don't waste anytime to propose.

You want your prints to be seen on the sands of time even after you are gone.
But what happens to all of such when Life Happens?

What happens when Life gives a setback to our assumed perfect future.
When Life makes our fairytale home becomes a battlefield.
When Life discard us like trash.
When Life reduces us to nothing.

when things don't go our way
When it doesn't look good to us.
When it doesn't work for us.

All people show us is sympathy
When Life Happens
All people show is our mistakes.

All we need is Revival

All we need is Jesus
He's the only one who can show you Empathy
He's the only one who truly cares for you
He's the only one who loves you dearly
He's the only one who can revive you and your situation.

But they all met with Jesus Christ and there situation was rescued.

You don't have to wait till Life Happens to you before calling out to Jesus.
He's right here with you
Call on to him today and happen to life before life happens to you.

Unsteady steps precedes  steady and firm steps.

Shaky fingers precedes firm grips.

Nothing has ever been well furnished right from start.

No man was born a hero in one day.

No leader took hold of power in one attempt.

It all began with one step at a time
It all began with one decision before the other
It all started with one idea before the action.

The road to success may seem far at sight, but with one step at a time, you will look back and realize you've come a long way from the starting point.

Don't despise little beginning, embrace one step at a time.

Don't covet high places, be content with taking one step at a time.

Salvation took thousands of years to be manifested but every man right from Adam till John the Baptist was part of Jesus's one step at a time.

One step at a time and you will appreciate the gains of success.

One step at a time and you will know what it takes to become a leader.

One step at a time and your results will stand the test of time.

Dropping the Baton

Dropping the baton

In a relay race, a baton is used to pass on the intensity of the race to another awaiting athlete, and it continues like that until it gets to the athlete for the final lap, so imagine what will happen if any of the athletes dropped the baton instead of passing it on to the next person. It means their chance of finishing top just got a set-back or they may even crash out of the race, it means the athletes ahead will keep waiting, So dropping the baton is not a good thing in the track field.
But do you know that in the race for eternity, so many people/believers do drop the baton before reaching the finishing line or point where its meant to be passed on.
Many Christians today have forgotten their purpose for running the eternity race thereby getting weary and distracted from the journey and dropping the baton thereby making the efforts of the people who delivered the faith unto them be in vain.
Some have dropped the baton and have dashed the hopes of many faithfuls ahead of them awaiting the mantle from them.
Christianity race is an eternal one, it does not start with one person neither would it end with one person. The baton of the good news is meant to be passed on from one person to another, from one generation to another, because it's eternal.
The essence of preaching the gospel to you is for you to be able to one day preach to someone else, the essence of saving you is for you to be able to save others someday. The book of Jude vs 3 says "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints". So why let it end with you? why let it depreciate and lose value in your hands?
The will of the master is for you to go into the world preaching the Gospel unto everyone but you as a born again Christian can't even boast of one soul for Christ for the past 10years you have received the baton of the good news.
Some people did not even lose theirs, some kept theirs, some readjusted theirs, some traded theirs for earthly positions.
The question to you reading this right now is this. What have you done with the baton (faith) that was once delivered unto you.
Is it in your possession or lost.?
Don't lose the baton my dear brother/sister and if you have lost it, God is willing to give you another one.
Don't lose your baton, pass it on quickly to everyone you see.
Don't let the people it was meant for lose out in the eternity race.
Pass on the baton

Kill IT

Kill Kill Kill It
What are we to really kill? We are to kill our habits, character, addictions, traits, all in all I am telling us to kill your old self.
Kill those things which have been associated with you to the world so that you can enjoy the new kind of life you are meant to live in Jesus Christ.
Jesus was a man of unquestionable character, he lived a life free of addiction, he was blameless and faultless yet he still killed his self so as to be a part of a greater glory.. So for he who drinks, smoke, fornicate, spite, hate, backbite, envy, lust, and take part in other form of indulgence and still wish to be a part of the great glory to be revealed... Kill yourself today and be resurrected into a new life which Christ has offered for us all at calvary...
You can't kill yourself alone neither will you still give up your oldself to be killed if you are still attached to the things of this world.
The only way you can help to kill your old self is to stay away from sin and that can only happen when we yield not to temptation... It all starts from an Ill thought before it metamorphosis into something serious....
So while its still at the thought level, kill it. While its still enticing you to partake in it... Kill it.
While its still luring you to come before it floors you... Kill it.
While its still looking good to behold... Kill it..
Because even giving it a chance in your head and mind alone is a sin...
A popular hymn says
1. Yield not to temptation, For yielding is sin; Each vict’ry will help you, Some other to win; Fight valiantly onward, Evil passions subdue; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through. Refrain: Ask the Savior to help you, Comfort, strengthen and keep you; He is willing to aid you, He will carry you through.
 2 Shun evil companions, Bad language disdain; God’s name hold in rev’rence, Nor take it in vain; Be thoughtful and earnest, Kindhearted and true; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.
When we yield not to sin... We are starving it to death gradually.
So learn to starve your heart of sinful thoughts, opinions and idea.

Change

Nagging is really a bad tool to employ when it comes to changing a person's character, because it blinds ones eye to the other person good attributes, while all we see is the person's bad aspects, it also makes us overlook our own bad attributes and we see ourselves as perfect and without fault.
I have seen men nag in a serious way on a partners issues, and I have seen women take to nagging like its an everyday job to render their displeasure, with both hoping it will change the other.
But do we know that prayer can change a person faster than nagging.
Do we know that while employing prayer as a tool it also help to change ourselves too.
Do we even know that nagging is a device of Satan which he ignites like fire to keep up argument and when the fire of nagging is still burning we can never see the good in what the other person does.
 So while that nagging fire is still in us, we become the most difficult person to cope with or even change while we think its the other person...
Lets quench the fire of nagging that the devil has started first and we will realize that we can only change the other person by first changing our self because the easiest person a man can change is himself and when prayer makes one change in aspects that matters most, the change we desire to see in that other person too will be effected in no time, and do we also know that nagging is the attribute of an hypocrite. The bible says “Why do you notice the small piece of dust that is in your friend’s eye, but you don’t notice the big piece of wood that is in your own? Why do you say to your friend, ‘Let me take that piece of dust out of your eye’? Look at yourself first! You still have that big piece of wood in your own eye. You are a hypocrite! First, take the wood out of your own eye. Then you will see clearly to get the dust out of your friend’s eye. Matthew 7:3-5 ERV.
So to change that other person we must first change ourselves, and the only way we can change ourselves is to take up prayer in place of nagging... God bless us all

EASTER IS NOT FOR YOU

EASTER IS NOT FOR YOU

Easter is here again, and it's a season that most people look forward to because it's a time to unwind, relax, enjoy and spend time with families and friends as it's a season that comes along with a long weekend break.
But how many people really know the meaning of Easter?, who are the people really worthy of celebrating this Easter season.
Easter is a season to celebrate the greatest achievement a man named Jesus Christ made while on earth.
It's a season to remember his life, work, death, and purpose here on earth.
It's a season to share in his pain, grief, and glorification, but its a pity that most of the people celebrating it today have little or no understanding of the meaning or the essence of it, thereby making a mockery of it unknowingly.
Jesus Christ came into this world to settle an age long rift between mankind and his creator. See Gen 3:1-24.
Hr came to be the mediator between man and God. See Heb 9:11-15.
Jesus Christ came to give man a chance at eternal life. See Jude 23.
And because of all this, he endured the shame, the pains, the grief, the blames that man would have had to carry on the last day. See Luke 23:1-56.
But still, it's a pity that most of the people he came to do all this for do not even know that he really did all these for them.
Some don't even know the impact of his coming, of his death, and of his resurrection.
Easter is not for you if:
1. You don't know who Jesus Christ is and if you have not met with him personally. John 14:7
2. You have not accepted him into your life as your Lord and personal saviour. John 13:20
3. You are not a follower or disciple of Jesus Christ. John 8:12.
4. You don't know why Jesus died on the Cross.
5. You are still going contrary to his will and wish for your life. Matt 12:50, John 7:17
6. You are letting the reason of his death be in vain over you.
7. You are still alive to sin but dead to the new life in Christ which he is offering to you. Romans 6:11
8. If all the blood Jesus shed is still not enough to change you from your sinful and evil ways.
9. You still love the world or cherish the things in it. 1 john 2:15.
Easter is not for you if you are not heavenly focused.
Anyone who does not accept the reality of the essence of the suffering, death, resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus Christ is guilty of eternal damnation, and who or what can save a man from that horrible day.
The only thing that can save a man from eternal damnation is to do the following steps mentioned below.
1. By confessing your sins.
2. By acknowledging your evil ways and acts and not going back to them.
3. By accepting Jesus Christ into your life.
4. By really knowing that he died for you to be free.
5. By doing his will and laws which he hath commanded
6. By being a witness for him everywhere you go.
You can only be made right with God through constant fellowship with him.
This Easter can really be for you, if only you would not let the death and resurrection of the man we are celebrating be in vain over you.
Easter is not for everybody but for those who have been redeemed and saved from eternal damnation.
Easter is not only and time of celebrations, but also of reflection about one's faith.
Do your best not be guilty of this easter you are witnessing or celebrating today.
Accept Jesus today.

Friends Forever

When I hear people say this person is my best friend, The first thought that comes up in my mind is that were you the one who introduced him/ her to Christ or was it the person who introduced Christ to you.
If your answer is No, then I believe you have to reconsider whom you call your best friend Cause a best friend is that person who is meant to have your back all the time And how can the person have your back when he/she is not spiritually sound and vibrant.
The Bible says... "I was glad when they said to me..let's go into the house of God.". Who is meant to say that to you if its not whom you call your friend, Your friend is meant to support you when you are weak Your friend is meant to hold on to you when you feel like letting go, Your friend is meant to be the one to let you know that you are already going off course, Your friend is meant to help you achieve your purpose because you can't do it alone.
No one ever made it alone Samuel had the permission of Eli to make it.
Moses had to make use of Aaron to be able to deliver his message at Egypt.
Caleb also had Joshua to be able to say the truth as spies.
You can't do it alone. So if you know that you can't do it alone why not just select the kind of friend you want to be seen with, why not select the kind of people who would share in your vision.
Why not select friends who would defend your course.
Jesus selected twelve disciples out of the many he had and his mission was fulfilled.
Joshua selected 300 and his mission was fulfilled.
Elijah selected Elisha and his mission was fulfilled.
Why not select friends who will make your mission fulfilled.
Friends can ruin and can build.
Friends can lead and can mislead.
Check out the calibre of friends you have today, are they truly worth calling friends.
Friends with heavenly view should be your best friends not those with vanity views.
Friends who are friends of Christ should be your friends not sons and daughters of Belial.
Friends who have discovered purpose should be your friends not disoriented ones.

Learn to move with a team of Godly people.

Best friends are friends forever, so choose wisely.

Now your service continues for Christ

Finally through with serving our father's land? Congratulations.
Still in the course of serving? Well done.
About to proceed? Prepare well.
Serving our father's land is not an easy task, it takes patience, hard work, commitment, determination and other qualities to be a success at it. Serving our father's land is a great experience that one is supposed to pass through. As serving our father's land is a great experience, so is the service of Christ.
Serving Christ just like our fathers land also require aforementioned qualities too and is one that requires persistence is all aspect.
Have you been serving him during your course of national service is a great question because his service is not a one time affair but that of a life time. Serving Christ is a privilege we are supposed to take chance of. He's call which says "The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few" is his mission for you to work in his vineyard of being an harvester.
In your sojourn of national service, have you also served him in accordance with his mission call?. Now that you are already or almost done with your youth service, I want you to know that your service for Christ should still continue. If you have not yet started serving in his vine yard, now is the time to start.
Serving your father's land is an important aspect of a student and youth life, but serving Christ is the most important aspect of ones life that one should take heed to. Now is not too late to start serving Christ.
If you are through with youth service, start or continue to serve Christ in your next phase of life. If you are still in youth service, start or continue serving Christ now and afterwards. If you are yet to start your youth service, start or continue serving Christ. Because serving Christ is a life time deal, Don't Prolong or shorten your service tenure in his vineyard by still living in sin.
 Your time as a fresh graduate or a corper is the best time to serve God. Take this deal of a life time your Creator has set before you, don't make it later, give yourself up for his service, contribute your own quota and when its time to drop the baton,you will be able to say... "I have fought the good fight".
This article is dedicated to all corpers, graduates, undergraduates and all youths to remind them that there is a service more profitable than being a corper, which is being an heavenly corper.

WHAT IS YOUR MINISTRY

A true story.

 I once knew a woman who lived in the mainland area of Lagos, she was a business woman who sold pure water and soft drinks at whole scale level, she had her shop just beside a very great church, she had lots of fridges and deep freezers and enormous sale merchants who hawked pure water around the streets of Lagos, I always thought she was a Christian because all her children I knew that were my peers where all bearing Christian names like Samson, Priscilla etc.
 One day she died, and all people could say about her was that she never for once attended a church, but that she herself founded her church which was her business, they said the woman was the pastor, her fridges and deep freezers were her ministers, while her sachet waters and canned beverages were her members.
I could not believe my ears, because there was and still till date a bible believing church just beside her shop, how come she never attended the church or any other church for once I asked myself. She died without knowing Christ, her death threw her children into confusion, they knew not Christ and they never even bothered to know him, no church conducted her burial because her ministry was her business, her ministry was her goods, she only replenished people by selling refreshments for them, she never replenished their souls with Christ Jesus. She died a shameless death and did not have a proper burial. Her business crumbled months after she died and that was the end of her.
How about you my reader, what is your own ministry, are you even a member of the true vine? Is your story not like that woman who built her ministry around her business, she never for once knew Christ or bothered to meet with him. She lived a dead life even while being alive, she was not grafted to Jesus. No single person around her could say anything commendable about her, all they said was she died without knowing Jesus Christ, even unbelievers and pagans said so.
 It does not matter how much you enjoy life or how hard you suffer in life, if your ministry is not built around Jesus Christ, you will only die a shameful death. Everyone has a ministry to take charge of.

Upgrade your ministry
Disseminate your ministry
Plant your ministry
Don't let your ministry be your business
Don't let your ministry be your field of profession
Don't let your ministry be your studies.
Let your ministry be founded by Jesus Christ.
Let your ministry be grafted to the true vine.
Let your ministry be for the great commission.
Your ministry should be your priority in life, because you will account for every soul that passed through you.
You can discover your ministry if only you have Jesus Christ who is the real corner stone of the great commission. Confess your sins today. Accept Jesus Christ and forsake your old ways and learn to follow his ways, join a bible believing church, and discover your ministry in Christ Jesus.

COMFORT OF THE COMFORTER

Looking at the just concluded year, can you say it was well spent?
Can you really acknowledge it as a very good year?
Was it as comfortable as you wished or prayed for?
Did you really enjoy the comfort of the comforter?
Whatever your answers may be, this new year can really get much better, it can be the best year for you, it can be as comfortable as you wish it to be, only if you know the comforter.
The comforter is the only one who can giver you what you the comfort you desire and deserve. But who is this comforter you may wonder, he is the one promised unto us in the book of John 14:15-17,26. He is meant to teach you, guide, protect, and keep you so that you sojourn for this new year can be  comfortable as it ought to be, because the one who promised him unto us says "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid".
For you to have this comfort of the comforter, you must  know and believe in the one who promised to send him unto us, and how can you really believe in him who promised to send the comforter if you don't accept and welcome him into your life.
To enjoy the comfort of the comforter this new year, you need to accept Jesus Christ into your life, and confess him as your personal Lord and Savior. And if you have already done that before, you need to keep making your relationship with him strong, because the relationship a man must have with Jesus must always be strengthened daily.
To enjoy your life this year, to be a success as a man or woman, student or worker, to be strong spiritually, to be useful for God and humanity and for this new year to go well and great for you, you need the comfort which the comforter gives, which can only be accessible through Jesus Christ.
Accept Jesus Christ into your life today and watch how this year 2017 will a year you will never forget for good, and a year which your aims will be met.

OMOTOTOYOSI (  CELEBRATE JESUS)

Omotoyosi is a name which means "A child Worth's joy". What kind of a child could really be worth rejoicing over is what really brought about the title "OMOTOTOYOSI" which means "A child really worth rejoicing over".
Omotoyosi must be a name for a special kind of child because the sight or news of a new born baby is always a thing of joy and happiness.
I have seen babies whose birth have brought revival to a dead home, whose birth have glued a torn apart marriage, whose  birth have put an end to long term rifts between families, whose smile would make any mother forget all the pains of childbirth.
But does all this qualifies such babies to be called Omototoyosi?.
I say yes, they all deserve the name, infact all babies do, and I also know know of a baby who is really worthy of being called Omototoyosi.
He is a baby who brought joy to the heart of his mother right from the day he was born.
He is a baby who brought fortunes to his parent right from birth through the numerous gifts elites of the world came to bestow upon him.
He is a baby every government of this present world dedicates two days for as public holidays just to celebrate his birth.
He is a baby whose birth is the reason for the season.
He is a baby really worth calling Omototoyosi because at the thought of his name, happiness floods everyones heart.
He is called so many names like prince of peace, Immanuel,comforter. Though many babies have come before and after him but he excels above them all because he alone is the Messiah.
He is a baby whose name can never be erased from generations to come.
Jesus is Omototoyosi because he came for us, he died for us, he gave us life through his resurrection, and he alone is our hope for tomorrow.
And because its the season to celebrate this special Omototoyosi, we also take this time out to celebrate all the babies, children, youths and adults who are bearing the name  Omotoyosi and all those who don't  bear the name but have given their families and people around reasons to be joyous and happy because of them.
Celebrate Jesus the real Omototoyosi this festive season accepting him and the essence of his birth into your life today and celebrate all the babies around you.

Will I Am

Do you know strength, Power, might, authority comes from above
Do you know grace mercy favour blessings,success come from above
Do you know sound health, journey mercies, well wishes, Promotion also come from above
Do you know honour, Glory, Fame, wealth, riches, all come from above Then where does WILL comes from... It comes from within you.
The will to survive, struggle, Aim, Achieve, become great, successful must come from within you If you do not have will in you then everything placed in your care from above will only waste away.
If you were given a million dollars project to execute to move your career, If you don't have the will to be successful in your career, you will only squander it.
If you were blessed with a family as a man, If you don't have the will to be a good head, the family will eventually crumble in your presence.
If you are blessed with children, If the will to be a good parent doesn't abide in you, you will only raise problems for the society.
If a Church is placed in your care as a Shepherd, if the will to be a good Shepherd is lost in you, you will only raise wolfs in sheep clothing,
In this age where talents and gifts are being used to glorify Satan, If you don't take your stand now, you will soon find yourself in the same destructive end as those who followed the trend.
Your life has been placed in your hands like talents, If you don't have a will like that of the productive servants, You will surely end up like the unproductive servant.
In a time like this when dishonesty, lies, stealing, injustice, indecency, immorality, backbiting and chaos is the order of the day, if you don't have the will to stand for justice, honesty, truth, decency, morality, peace and love, you will only find yourself being a victim of circumstances.
In a time like this when Christianity is being practiced as one wishes. If you don't have the will to seek for true doctrine, then you are on a rollercoaster ride to hell.
If in a time like this when the end of time is close at hand, you do not have the will to seek out your creator to remember him, you will only end up worse than the prodigal son.
If while in this life you do not have the will to do all it takes to make heaven, then your coming to the world is a waste.
All that you need has to be given to you because No one can receive anything except it be given unto him, and one of the criteria for it to be released unto you is for you to have the Will.
Caleb and Joshua had the Will to be fearless when they saw the giants of Jericho.
Shadrach Meshack and Abednego had the Will to wait upon their God even though they saw the fiery furnace, Even Daniel had the will not to change his prayer time for whatsoever reason even though the lions den awaited such defiance.
The bible say Can anything separate us from Christ’s love? Can trouble or problems or persecution seperate us from his love? If we have no food or clothes or face danger or even death, will that separate us from his love? Romans 8:35 ERV
The only way for all that and more not to separate us from the love and promise of God is for us to have a will to stand for God, The bible says. But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37‭-‬39 ERV
To have that victory in Christ Jesus, you must have the Will.
So my brethren, you must have the will to stand for God through your work, family, businesses, ministry, gifts, talents, passion, hobbies.
 Have the Will because its all you need to have to enjoy all the benefits from above as mentioned earlier.

TRUE INDEPENDENCE

Its  October 1st and we are celebrating our dear nation independence. Its been a long walk of freedom for our nation for 56years, but has it been that of freedom for our individual lives?.
Have we truly gained independence and become free from the foreign beings who have held us under their rules in times past?
Can we really say we are enjoying the true benefits of independence?
If our present independent lives were to be weighed on scale with our lives before becoming independent, would there be any noticeable change or difference?.
Change and true independence has been preached to us ever since we claim to have won our fight for freedom, but have we really heeded?.
Are the winds of our past colonized life still not controlling how we sail presently in an era when we are expecting to see change?.
We need to check our lives inertly, to see if there has truly been any wind of change in our lifestyle. Experiencing true independence is what we bargained for when we asked to be free, Let's experience it from this new month.
True independence is not in fighting or any form of violence.
True independence is not in rebellious acts.
True independence is not in cheating our fellow brother because we have power.
True independence is not wanting away from home as a youth, just to be free of discipline. True independence is not in doing what we like.
True independence is not in waiting for change from the top.
True independence is not being free with the world.
True independence is not being far from the word.
True independence is doing what we ought to do.
True independence is being truthful.
True independence is effecting the change from our very home.
True independence is living a fulfilled life.
True independence is being free within our homes as youth.
True independence is in showing love and care.
True independence is being free from Sin.
When we are free from sin, we would be free from oppression, affliction, death, evil attacks, bondage.
Sin colonized our life under his regime by handing us over to the foreign beings of our flesh desires, we fought for our freedom the day we ran to Jesus Christ for salvation, but the winds of reconstructed, repackaged, rebranded, and refurbished sin, soon started controlling the direction we sail while we thought we were still in Christ.
Check your lifestyle today and compare it to the time you were not yet born again. What have changed, Nothing, Little or everything?
 You still need to be free once again to be able to experience true independence.
 True independence is in Christ Jesus and in him alone, Don't let the church, doctrine, styles, and tides of this days blow you away anymore.
True independence is experiencing Jesus and walking according to his will which leads to freedom.

When Cell Meets Cell

Cell is a confined place, meant to keep a person temporarily, while his future is being determined.
There are only two types of people who are found in a cell, the Victim or the Perpetrator, before a person can find himself in a cell, he must have first been in a cell which will lead him to the second cell.
What do I mean by Cell meets cell?
It means spiritual cell meets or leads to physical cell. Before a man can find himself in a physical cell, either as a victim or the perpetrator of an act, he has first been locked in a spiritual cell.
Spiritual cell in this context is SIN. A man is locked in a spiritual cell of sin when he begins to allow ungodly thoughts to lock his sense of reasoning which makes him engage in violence or any other criminal act, which in turn leads him to the physical cell, and when a man finds himself in a physical cell, he should know the following. That
Cell is not a place to be sad but a place to reason.
Cell is not a place to regret ones actions but a place to reflect.
Cell is not a place to get angry, its a place to calm down.
 Cell is not a place to seek justification of ones evil act or innocence, but a place to seek for God's mercy and pardon.
When a man gets to physical cell, his eyes will calm down, his sense of reasoning will be back to normal.
He'll realize he could have been a little more patient.
He'll realize he could have reacted differently.
He'll realize he could have followed after righteousness and truth.
 He'll realize his mistakes.
He'll realize the real reason he's locked.
He'll realize how far he had come in life to be in cell for such reasons.
He'll realize that spiritual cell lead him there.
He'll realize that there is God.
When cell meets cell, all you need is God's mercy.
When cell meets cell, all you need is God's favour.
When cell meets cell, all you need is prayer.
When cell meets cell, all you need is Grace.
 When cell meets cell, all you need is to realize that you have allowed yourself to be locked up in a spiritual cell.
When cell meets cell, all you need is to ask God for forgiveness.
When cell meets cell, all you need is Jesus.
When cell meets cell, all your need is Holy spirit.
When cell meets cell, all you need is God's intervention.
When God intervenes in your situation, you as a victim will be vindicated.
When God intervenes in your situation, you as a perpetrator will be pardoned.
When God intervenes in your situation, you will be set free from spiritual cell.
 When you put God first, you will be totally free from both spiritual and physical cell.

Remember that; Cell is not what determines your future, its the reason why you are there that determines your future and though what brought you there might have decided your future, prayer can change it and can make your future better than your past.
Embrace prayer while in cell or when you realize you are being trapped in a spiritual cell.

 At the just concluded examinations, can you really say you have tried your best?
 If your scripts were to be marked right away, will your best be good enough to qualify you as passed?
 At the time the results will be out, can you say it was your best that made you pass?

 To the Students preparing for examination

Can you say you are trying your best to prepare ahead of the exams?
If the examination date was shifted to tomorrow, can you boldly say you are ready to go into the hall?
Can you solely depend on your state of preparation?.

To all the Students

Do you know that everyday you pass through life test?
Do you know that everyday you pass through physical test?
Do you know that everyday you pass through personality test?
Do you know that everyday you pass through Spiritual test?
In all of these tests, have you been scaling through it with a satisfactory remarks from the one who put you through it?
Job and all he had was put through Life, Physical, Personality and spiritual test and he scored excellent, he did not disappoint his creator who put him up for the tests.
We also can begin to make our creator proud starting from this morning The tests are new everyday, but if we put in our very best, we can keep making him proud.
The school exams we have written or about to write is not what can give us the needed satisfactory remarks from our creator even though our conduct through out the exams is one of the things he looks out for.
 The only way to get the best remark from him is through the following ways. Acknowledging God as our creator.
Believing that he sent Jesus to us.
Accepting Jesus into our life.
Forsaking our sins and not going back to them
Seeking Jesus daily and every time.
And Doing his will.
Through all this we can make him proud in all the test we are put through.
As the outgoing students pass out, let them have it mind that the future outside the walls of the school lies in the hands of God and only accessible through Jesus.
To the remaining students, the life we'll still experience within the school walls also lie in the hands of God and also accessible through Jesus.
Accept Jesus today and be rest assured that his best is enough for you.
Have you tried your best?
 Is your best really enough?
Your best can never be enough without Jesus.
